‘Start Small Dream Big’ programme, initiated by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), to encourage our young future leaders to contribute to our society. With the theme of“A Caring and Inclusive Home for All” , which aligned with our President’s Challenge focus on giving everyone a chance to contribute to our society. As early as January 2020, Ci Ai has begun feeding K1 and K2 children with information about COVID-19, what it does and how it affects our world and daily lives. Class teachers shared news, articles and videos to children during the Current Issue Sessions and gathered children’s responses to the topic on Covid-19. With the guidance from the Education Advisor of FGS(S), Ms Fong Bee Cheng, teachers and K1 & K2 children were involved in a project of putting up “Thank You” messages written by our children and parents, in dedication to our frontline workers. The children gathered these heart-warming messages and pieced them together in the form of a giant sunflower. On 29 July 2020, principal and teachers met up with Dr Eileen Liew at KK Hospital and hand over the specially prepared gifts to our frontline workers, thanking them for their relentless efforts in serving our country.
