The celebration began with the storytelling of the legend of ‘Chang Er’ , introduction of the origins and history of Mid-Autumn festival. The children also learnt about the lunar phase cycle of the moon. At this period, the moon is called the harvest moon which is traditionally believed to be the brightest of the year. Thereafter, the children in their classes participated in craft work activities and went on a lantern procession with their fanciful lanterns. Finally, the children feasted on assorted mooncakes brought by their friends.
